Silkstream’s Adam Bird takes on the challenging Tough Mudder assault course in just under 3 weeks time.
Famous for its extreme obstacles, masses of mud, and electrifying finish line, Tough Mudder is a test of mental and physical strength that our very own web designer Adam Bird will soon undergo in aid of Cancer Research UK – to donate for his efforts visit Adam’s Just Giving page.
12 Miles of Obstacles
In preparation of the 10-12 mile course that promises to be as difficult as possible, Adam has been in the gym, on the roads, and down the coastline of Southend beach to give himself the best chances of completing Tough Mudder with his team of family members and friends.

This popular event for adrenaline hunters and challenge seekers is not about individual involvement like marathons or fun runs. Instead it is a team effort that is designed to build camaraderie amongst its participants which is why the organisers encourage people to sign up in teams.
